Guido yANNITTO
ARTIST STATEMENT
Guido Yannito returns to weaving in his work in 2021 as a resource to rethink with this process the ethnocentric bias of the geometric tradition in the modernism of the twentieth century, anchored in pre-Hispanic communities of the region.
At the same time, this gesture invites us to re-materialize a world that at times becomes too volatile in the digitalization age.
